Retail Decision's service portfolio includes fuel cards which save time and money by consolidating travel and vehicle-related expenditure; including fuel, vehicle service and repairs, car hire, accommodation and taxi fares into one expense management system, for greater control and reduced administration.
As an established supplier and trusted partner, Imerja provides technical, engineering and design consultancy services to ReD. Over the last two years this has included the implementation of a VPN concentrator and Check Point Integrity solution to support 200 mobile workers, upgrade of Cisco firewall infrastructure and the design, implementation and testing of a server load balancing solution.
Imerja also provides a 24x7 hardware maintenance and technical support service on ReD’s Cisco based communication infrastructure. The infrastructure has been designed with no single point of failure with two pairs of High Availability Cisco PIX security appliances located at the edge (Internet) and in front of the production segment where card data is held.
The successful customer relationship has been strengthened through the advanced purchase of consultancy days enabling ReD to request expertise on a flexible basis as and when it is required. This ranges from network related issues, configuration and rule changes, through to complex network design and implementation challenges. The consultancy pool is regularly topped up as days are used to ensure it has continual access to the right expertise as and when it is required.
