Event Marketing Solutions Ltd (EMS) are global exhibition trailer experts, operating the largest and most versatile fleet of exhibition trailers in Europe. With a growing workforce, EMS needed to ensure that its IT infrastructure was performing as well as the organisation.

Facing an increased need to provide flexible working, a 24/7 service to clients as well as a work life balance for employees, EMS was presented with the challenge of ensuring business continuity for all employees, across all IT systems. EMS also wanted to ensure the ongoing security of the network and ensure that their services were not subject to breach or abuse from internal and external threats. EMS required a review of their IT systems to better understand their existing infrastructure in order to make informed decisions on any measures that needed to be taken.

With a strong pedigree in assessing, designing and delivering secure infrastructure solutions, Imerja was ideally placed to carry out a comprehensive IT infrastructure audit for EMS. Following the audit, Imerja made a number of recommendations to EMS that would enhance the security and productivity of the infrastructure. Subsequently, Imerja was appointed to carry out installation of a new firewall infrastructure with a Check Point UTM solution. As a Check Point Gold Partner and Managed Service Provider (MSP), Imerja was able to quickly and efficiently install and configure the solution for EMS.

To compliment the solution, Imerja provides EMS with monitoring and management services from the Imerja’s 24/7 secure operations centre. Based on Imerja’s monitoring solution, ServiceAlert™, engineers can act quickly on system warnings and alerts by remotely accessing EMS’s network and resolving the issue, ensuring business continuity with no disruption to normal service.
