Housing
Housing Associations (HA) are independent not-for-profit bodies that provide low cost housing for people in housing need. In the UK they are collectively the major provider of new homes for rent; while many also run shared ownership schemes to help people who cannot afford to buy their own homes outright. Some HAs manage large estates of housing for families, while the smallest may manage a single scheme of housing, such as sheltered accommodation for the elderly. Much of the supported accommodation in the UK is provided by HAs, with specialist projects for people with special needs.
As with any business organisation, IT plays a critical role in supporting the day to day operation and service delivery. HAs often operate from more than one location and may employ remote and mobile workers. Ensuring that essential services are reliably delivered when and where they are required calls for appropriate technical solutions to be deployed and supported.
Recognising the specific business requirements of the HA community Imerja has developed bespoke technical services and support packages. By working in partnership with HAs to support its critical infrastructure they can focus on their business of delivering high quality services to its customers. The case study examples in the customer pages to the right demonstrate how Imerja’s end to end service packages and partnership approach provides ongoing benefits to its customers.
