Account Manager

Location: Office based Bolton/Elstree

Job Description Overview:

Working as part of a dynamic team shaping a vibrant ICT solutions and managed services company, the role of Account Manager involves selling Imerja’s complete range of security, management, and intelligence products and services within their assigned territory.

Account Managers will be responsible for developing and driving their sales strategy, identifying and qualifying leads while consistently closing business on a monthly basis in order to meet agreed sales target. Candidate must be results orientated sales professionals seeking a role in which they can flourish in a dynamic, challenging and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an up-to-date sales strategy
  • Manage the sales cycle to develop new revenue
  • Create, identify, and qualify selling opportunities by the preparation of high quality, accurate proposals and quotations for customers and conclude contracts in accordance with Imerja policies and procedures
  • Deliver consistent and on-plan revenue through skilled pipeline management
  • Maintain an active 30-60-90 day sales pipeline, manage territory profitability, consistently revise revenue projections and provide monthly updates and status reports on sales opportunities
  • Contribute to the highest levels of prospect and customer satisfaction
  • Motivate and direct virtual resource teams to work effectively with you to win business
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge
  • Make recommendations on improvements to Imerja services and service quality

The above list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties in support of Imerja’s overall sales objectives.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years sales experience with a IT solutions or services provider
  • Experience of selling complex IT security or network solutions
  • Knowledge of selling Check Point, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba, Lifesize and Exinda desireable
  • Proven sales methodology skills
  • Proven commercial awareness - business processes, constructing ROI cases, identifying and defining benefits, competitor market positions, contractual terms and conditions
  • Proven track record of: consistent quota attainment and / or over achievement successful solutions selling within medium to large corporate enterprises selling a complex portfolio of products and services management of cross group relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and demonstration skills to executives, contributors, and stakeholders either in a group setting, one on one, or over the phone
  • Developing and managing a qualified pipeline of opportunities.

Salary: Competitive basic with uncapped OTE target, car allowance, life cover.
